Potential speakers should send our Program Chairperson a list of talks and workshops you have prepared and are ready to present, along with adequate descriptions of each topic. If you are not sure if you and SFF would be a good match, refer to our Lightworks Index to see who previous speakers have been and what their topics were. We strive for diversity in topics and always want someone who is a good speaker with a topic we think would engage our public.

If none of our board members has personally seen or heard you speak before an audience of at least 30 people, we will need a cassette or video tape of one of your talks. If you have published books, we would like to have information about them. We also will need detailed information about any workshops or personal counseling sessions you may wish to offer. If you have a personal or professional web site, please send us the link. We do sometimes book speakers based on a board member's personal recommendation.

If you are booked to be one of our speakers, we will need biographical information, detailed information on the talk and any workshops or sessions, a good close-up photograph (high resolution jpg is ideal) and possibly other information. These things need to be submitted a minimum of two months before the speaking date. All materials should be submitted to the Programs Chairperson or mailed to our postal address.
