explore the principal planetary dynamics of the coming year
and uncover some of the astrological patterns that will
affect us both globally and personally, giving us an empowering

In August, the International
Astronomical Union (IAU) voted that Pluto, planet of Power
and Transformation, isn’t a planet. What does this
change of status mean—to us and to Pluto’s conjunction
with the Galactic Center?
What does the opposition
of Neptune (planet of Spiritual Direction) and Saturn (planet
of Societal Structure) mean?
What will happen when Mercury
(planet of Communication) goes retrograde? And what should
we do?
The year 2007 promises to
be a “fireball,” and we will want to be ready
to run with it. Come, bring your sense of adventure, and

When she was 11, Beth picked
up an astrology book and a deck of tarot cards and said
“Oh Wow!—I remember these.” Thus began
her life-long passion for the healing arts. She is a holistic
astrologer with over 25 years in practice. Using a blend
of the healing arts of astrology, feng shui, and reiki,
she helps her clients to explore their unique journeys and
energetic connections through personalized in-depth readings
covering relationship, self-exploration, vocation, relocation,
and clear and simple strategies.
As a founding member of the Network of Triangle Astrologers,
a chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research
(NCGR), and as its current President, she practices and
supports the professionalism of astrology by co-sponsoring
an internationally recognized Astrology Lecture Series in
Raleigh, North Carolina, and through participation at expos
and other local venues. She was the astrology columnist
for InnerChange magazine at the turn of the millennium.
As an interfaith minister, she is an on-call pastor for
UNC Hospitals Pastoral Care Oncology, with the labyrinth
and crystal bowls, supporting others in their efforts towards
wholeness through the balance and wisdom of person, place,
and timing.

SFF Lecture Recordings
We generally record all of our lectures and you may purchase audio
tapes of most lectures from the late 1980's through September,
2006. For lectures beginning with September, 2006, lecture recordings
are now availble on CD.
Tape recordings
are $10 which includes postage.
Cassette tapes are available of most SFF lectures dating back
to 1988. They may be available for future events as well.
CDs are available in two formats.
Two disk audio CD
sets are $15
Because audio CDs are limited to a maximum of 78 minutes, if you
would like an audio CD of a lecture playable on any CD player.
One disk MP3 CD
is $10
If you would like a CD using the MP3 format (playable on your
computer and many new CD and DVD players but not on older
CD players), it will be on one disk.

T. Raphael Simons is a certified
hypnotherapist and Feng Shui practitioner living in Durham,
with a practice that includes the New York tri-state area
and international locales. He founded Feng Shui Arts, through
which he trains and certifies others in Feng Shui and in Chinese
astrology. He has also published several books: Feng Shui
Step by Step; Feng Shui Strategies for Business Success;
and, due out in January 2007, The Feng Shui of Love.

The early meditation is held in the
Ralph Waldo Emerson room of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
of Raleigh.
This is in the same building (Peace
Hall) as the Clara Barton room, but the Emerson room is on the
lower level.
If coming from the front parking lot,
go down the steps between the two buildings. There's an entry
door on the right side of Peace Hall. Go in this door and down
the hall, and the Ralph Waldo Emerson room is on the left at
the end.
If coming from the back parking lot,
go up the steps between the main building, which houses the
sanctuary in front and Fellowship Hall in the rear, and Peace
Hall, the building to the left. Entry door will be on the left
a short distance up the stairs.
Please
arrive on time to optimize the energetic's of the group dynamic.
